Happy weekends all. Welcome back VorelNaCestach , the words cold and Wuhan have some bad memories, don’t they. It chimes with me as I’ve nearly got over a cold this week - just in time for our Chile holiday.

That has reminded me that I need some new friends. No one is surprised that our trip routes LHR-ARN-IST-(GRU)-SCL and then straight on to a LCC flight to CJC.

In other news, our trip is well timed as we’ve finally heard from our local council that our planning application has been “validated” and that the relevant notices will go up for 21 days … while we are away. Perfect. That said, I’ve been round to all the neighbours with said plans so the only surprise is timing. ((As before, with BA-esque logic, the council also say that they will determine the outcome of the application by November 7; go figure.))

Next update from the Atacama desert.. we hope.
