Honestly, from a redemption standpoint point, Aeroplan has it best. They partner with whichever airline so you can pick and choose based on where you can get your best bang for your buck for premium travel.
KF isn’t and never has been such a program. Given the (relatively) small supply of SQ premium seats, the program is just (over-)correcting now.
I actually hate Aeroplan, lol. I've only had one really good redemption with them and it was earlier this year, Oman Air Business Studio from BKK-MCT. But I can rarely find what I need, and when I do, there are ticketing issues (Turkish Air earlier this year). SQ doesn't release F awards to them. Emirates releases F (or least used to) at a cost that makes absolutely no sense (almost double as bad as SQ Access awards). Lufthansa has significantly reduced the number of F awards it gives to Aeroplan. There use to be a time when ANA F awards weren't that hard to book with Aeroplan but again, that's basically dead.
In short, the heyday of redeeming aspirational awards through partners has passed.
