I'd really like to understand how someone flying in lowest fare Y on AA, who never flies on AS, but has an AS lounge lowest level membership gets into the lounge while an AS Platinum, 49, atmos infinite, atmos summit, lounge day passes too many to ever use, and flying in paid AS F alkways is told the only way into the AS lounge is to buy a membership. .. not told there are any capacity problems and the first described pax was admitted 1 minute earlier. Something isn't adding up. Surely the priorities are all wrong. Additionally 2nd pax was in a wheelchair and could not walk to a restaurant or anywhere else and the wheelchair staff was told to take the passenger to a gate to sit and wait 4 hours for the flight. Cannot get a reply from AS other than a reservationist to call back. Rethinking my loyalty...I'm already platinum for 2026 so have a year to realing loyalties after 35 plus years with AS.
