It's possible to be sympathetic without hyperbole -- that was my original point.
But note TXDucky's points about (1) no interest, and (2) cancelled vacations resulting in unreimbursable losses. These employees are suffering harm that will never be reimbursed. Not to mention the stress of zero dollar paychecks when you're working a full week (and possibly OT).
