I know airlines are not always great at respecting all of their regulatory obligations, but somehow, I simply cannot imagine them breaching that as I suspect that refusing to refund after you have cancelled a flight would come across as egregious. Besides, I can’t see why they would as rerouting on another career is not a cost less option for the airline.
