Could PC to other fee free cards but still not CSP. So I tried changing it again to no fee Sapphire thinking maybe it needed to be in the "Sapphire family" first. Now I cannot PC it to anything else at all. It's stuck as a no fee Sapphire and no one at Chase can tell me for how long.
One phone agent said he'd ask the backend team to send me a letter explaining why I couldn't PC to CSP. Laughably, all the letter said was "Based on our guidelines, we determined the switch you requested isn't available." Apparently no one is able or willing to share what those "guidelines" are.
Does anyone have any insight at all into what may be going on here???
afaik, no banks share their guidelines on how they decide what products you can PC into. in fact, DPs seems to suggest it is a ymmv thing, so im not sure what answer were you expecting
and no surprises that there are no PC offer for your no fee sapphire card, as it is quite normal that you cant PC a new card, even if the account isnt new
may i ask how long did you keep your CSR and CSP before downgrading? did you put spend on them regularly or was it just for the SUB? are you putting spend on your CFFs regularly?
