Stayed a night here when Hyatt Centric Reims wasn't really operating normally, put me in a bind / rather "last minute", price was relatively lower for all "central-ish" Paris (and IHG property on the canal was ~ 75% higher). Also, hadn't stayed in that area, the canal looked nice, and had some interesting cafes and a craft beer place on the canal. oh, the property's photos of brick and interior, it seemed new and bright.
Walked the 4.5-5.0km from central Paris. Canal area peaceful, not crowded on bright sunny day, water calm glistening in sunlight.
Room : size was on the smallish side, a bit unexpected for being some distance from the "center". Bathroom also rather small. Room + bathroom size similar to IHG Voco - Clichy Port on west/north side of Paris (when it was a Holiday Inn, the rooms were 50-60% larger)
Restaurant for breakfast was below check-in ground floor, but land sloped down, so the breakfast area was partially below ground, and further into the restaurant were windows and daylight as land sloped down. Plenty of space to find a table. Breakfast was ok, typical eggs, bacon, sausage, etc hot dishes; a few fruit choices; croissant not bad and had those butters shaped like tube candies with twists at each end. Open kitchen, you could see chefs working hard.
Clean, new, modern, but relatively smaller room & bathroom -- for 1 night was ok.
