I have to say I think this is a real positive. If they can roll it out quickly then this is great and they would be one of the first major airlines to do it. QR it is a complete lottery as to the WiFi you get on board (and try getting a refund if it doesn't work out of QR) with some with Starlink and others you have to pay and slower etc and really the only other airline that seems well off the mark is United who have committed to this on the entire fleet. I don't know about AF but if they get Starlink network wide by the end of 2026 that would be a massive bonus for them. Outbound transatlantic these days many people actually want and need to work and it is a big deal when you suddenly have to try to download as much as you can before takeoff..... Hopefully that can be relegated to the history books very soon.....
