It took approximately 90 minutes for our bags to arrive on the domestic carousels, meanwhile several domestic flights landed and their bags appeared. An announcement was made with an apology and apparently our bags had been taken to another carousel in international by accident and had to be collected and returned to domestic. We missed our connection (coach) as a result. You couldn't make this up!
to be fair it is only BA's first few days running an airline, you have to expect small teething issues like this for a new airline
