Hi guys, I booked a refundable fare using an ETC that has now expired. I enquired with UA and was advised that in case I choose to cancel my ticket, the refund will be made to a ETC that has a 30 day expiration from the date of refund processing. Can I use this new 30-day validity ETC to book another non-basic economy non-refundable booking and cancel after 24-hour window to convert this into a FFC valid for another year (and possibly extendable via another iteration of book and cancel)? Anyone has data point or past experience under this scenario? Thanks!
