Visited the Chelsea lounge this week for the first time and I liked it a lot. It was quiet when I arrived and never got too busy despite the number of evening TATL departures. The menu has changed slightly from the most recent one posted above so I’ve posted that as well. I thought the staff were excellent and on my visit at least the service was better than anything I’ve experienced in the CCR recently which on my last few visits especially has been sub par with incorrect food orders being delivered and items forgotten. I didn’t eat too much in the Chelsea lounge but enjoyed a couple of glasses of champagne - the Moet Imperial and later the Blanc de Blancs. Food wise the soup was really tasty, the caviar pretty small and the ice cream sundae really enjoyable. (As was the football I was able to watch whilst in the lounge). I’m very rarely in New York these days so was pleased to be able to visit the lounge and see what it was like.
