I saw some long delays on PHX departures this evening, posted in the morning. Such early notification is not typical and must be a signature of staffing challenges..
Some PHX delays ended up being five hours and there were a few cancellations. This is worse than I have seen anywhere in the past month in terms of ATC delays.
