The gamers (i am onr) is a very small minority and i doubt it has an affect on their business.
I dont think the main issue is the crowding but quite simple Aegean wants some more revenue from their gold members. If someone flying once per year with them, paying 120 euros return, upgrades with vouchers and then does not fly with Aegean again why would they give them a gold status? It doesnt make any sense at all
