b) seems correct.

I'm pretty confident that the Nov. 5th 2026 date is correct today (!) and I'm also quite confident that it will start changing, eventually, after the first flight post-November 5th 2025 is finally registered to a member's account.

As you said, you can upgrade at any time. Where you didn't get it quite right is, that the gold anniversary has almost nothing to do with the deadlines in order to upgrade to platinum, at least as long as gold is maintained, which is what I assume to be both a requirement and what anyone with platinum in their sights will be achieving anyway.

Aegean's tiers are based (with regards to upgrades) on a rolling year, counting from the oldest flight within that year! So with platinum being introduced on November 5th 2026, the first possible flight that can count towards platinum can be taken... Today!
Spoiler

Then the November 5th 2026 date will remain fixed until that segment and its tier miles expire, which will be November 6th 2026 (it will then be moved to be 365 days away from the next flight post-November 5th 2025, that the member has taken). If the member does not fly today, then tomorrow Nov. 7th the indication should change to November 6th (or 7th ) 2026 and so on. A November 23rd gold anniversary is mostly irrelevant. If you take your first post-November 5th 2025 on November 30th 2025, then the platinum's deadline will likely first be November 24th 2026 and will be changed, after you meet the requirements to retain gold, to November 29th 2026k (with the account likely reading "until 30/11/2026").

Miles and segments flown within the rolling (upgrade) year do not expire at the current tier's anniversary, with regards to upgrading one's tier! They only expire with regards to retaining the current tier. (what I assume happens, is, that if a tier is momentarily lost and then regained, say a few days later, that the segment counter for platinum will then also be reset to 0)

in line with the continuous expansion of AEGEAN's network

32 segments in PUT Light domestic deliver... 3200 miles
But 32 domestic segments in the very next BC, S, at the very next ticket category, Flex, deliver 19200 miles! Interesting indeed.
