I typically do 1-2 trips to greece yearly my trips are between 400-800€ per trip, and I have done this for maybe 10 or so years to keep star gold, for the last 3 years I have debated stopping as it just makes very little sense in the end since I rarely fly star anymore, its 80% OW and ST so now A3 made it a easy choice for me with this change.

I was just about to buy thei flight pass so I am glad they announced this early...

Now I need to spend off my A3 miles that are significant before my status is completely gone...

I hope they have done their math, perhaps MB isnt a huge money maker for them but I can see this shedding ALOT of members for sure... but it is what it is... its an end of a era for me for sure
