I and multiple family members have flights booked for this weekend and the US DOT is telling the world that there will e 10% possible delays and cancellations this weekend, something affecting 40 possible airports. Called on my flight, wife's, and kids, all of us who are needing to converge in Orlando through the weekend for various events. Not going to Disney.

Call to the MVP line did not yield any information as to what we could expect if there are cancellations. To be sure, agent said she knew of no plans for the carrier as of yet for contingencies. Didn't expect instant reassurance. Do think the airline should make whatever effort possible to let pax know if their flights are in jeopardy. I'll be calling other carriers and, if needed, do some double booking. Something I would not do but we have risky surgeries for 2 of our family members that wife, I, and multiple kids just have to be there for.

Hope all airlines can step up and keep booked passengers advised if their flights are in jeopardy of cancellation. Wouldn't hurt for all passengers to stay tuned more than usual to breaking news.
