Mushroom allergies affect less than 1% of the population and are primarily associated with ingesting. In that case, an allergic person can push them to the side and have no serious effects.

I don't consider this dollop to be a major ingredient. In the absence of listing all ingredients (which does seems reasonable to list somewhere), I don’t personally see this as an issue. Other reasonable people may feel otherwise and that’s fine, too.

I eat everything and have no strong aversions to any foods. I don’t care for citrus or pineapple, but it doesn’t ruin my day or cause any health concerns. It does frustrate me when I read here, and elsewhere, various aversions that result in what I’m served to be made more “boring.” Whether it be tomatoes, mushrooms, nuts, hot peppers, fish, cilantro, or whatever. Again, this is my personal preference and as much as someone else’s rights to not be served whatever is infringed by my point of view, my rights to be served whatever is also infringed by the alternative point of view. However one looks at it, both points of view are totally reasonable to have for that person.

See posts 1400 and 1403 for an example of how people’s aversion to mushrooms could result in me not being able to enjoy a unique meal in D1. And how it’s not just limited to listing the ingredient. This is not meant in any way to comment on happiest_at_40000 or dmarge18 personally despite me using their posts as examples.
