In 2023, they pulled TU (April) and in Nov. 2023, they pulled Equifax.
They are inquiry sensitive, although not sure if they are as picky as Barclays.

They also have some magical thing about "not enough use" of your existing CL (if you have other cards).

I'm sorta like you. Last card (of any brand/bank) for me, was August of 2025. If they pull TU, I'm at 6/24, 4/12. If they pull Equifax, I'm at 0/24. If they pull Experian, I'm at 6/24 and 4/12.

We shall see. I think I might try to wait a few more weeks as I need to time with paying taxes, unless I get an Amex NLL Gold/Plat. offer.
Interesting. Im planning on canceling my Amex Business Platinum and opening both a Venture X and Strata card to leverage the two bonuses to pad an EVA account for upgrades, or if I choose to pad my JAL account in which case I’ll do a Venture and Venture X card for personal and business.

So if I still do the Strata card, I’m thinking I need to apply for the two cards literally simultaneously in two browser windows so neither issuer sees the other’s new account. That should hopefully make the Strata card easier to get approved.
