Keep in mind, aircraft could switch to a narrowbody between now and then, and PY would be treated like Y.
Upgrade priority info is in the wiki:
-ahead of anyone in Y ??? - YES
-ahead of any 25K’s (but not higher status) - NO, unless she has status of her own. She does not inherit your status when on a separate PNR.
-behind anyone who requested the upgrade earlier than at the airport ??? - YES if they're also PY.
Thanks. Right I forgot she won’t “inherit” my status so will be behind pretty well anyone in Y.
essentially only has to deal with the others in Premium economy. My priority reward is just for premium economy not sure how to get her into J on that
Sounds like a bit of a gamble although a lot of the upgrade lists I’ve been following are composed of people wanting upgrades to PE and J not just J
it seems not a lot of upgrade requests are from PE
(but my information is conjecture)
