This hotel is definitely older, but I did not dislike it. Here are my impressions of last night’s stay:

Note: From Centraal Station, the hotel is right outside exit 5.

Pros:
  • Upgraded to a King Premium with Balcony - this was a large room with large balcony and a sitting nook - the only suite type available online was listed as premium, so I wasn’t expecting that one
  • Bed (two twins, but connected with topper cover) was comfortable - medium slightly plush mattress, plush covers, plush pillows
  • Shower pressure was strong
  • Room was clean
  • Welcome gift of Antwerp hand biscuits and checkout gift of travel supplies, including an inflatable neck pillow and some hand sanitizer (can always use more of that)
  • Breakfast was not bad - good scrambled eggs and salmon, machine coffee was decent, waffle was not my favorite
  • Offered late checkout proactively

Cons:
  • Not much - other than the design is obviously older and the carpet is a bit old-seeming
