“I asked at Kornhill branch [of CTS] for Australian passport holder last month. Was told 12 business days at that location, with no express service available.
Asked by CTS staff to suggest that visitor apply in Australia before departure “
Yes again, “old”. It was 18 months ago in May 2024, before Australians got visa free in the following month.

“Update 8 Nov 2025
Went to same branch: “1 time L visa for US passport holder with HK visitor slip (ie entered HK under visa free). No HKID no HK passport no Chinese blood”
CTS Kornhill: “Express service, min 8 days”
Me: “8 days?! This isn’t multiple entry.”
CTS Kornhill: “doesn’t matter, this is the minimum even for ordinary visitor single entry”
Me: “Me: can other larger branches do it faster?”
CTS Kornhill: “all CTS should be 8 days min””
