Going to sound like the annoying "told you so" guy but this exactly what I anticipated and mentioned in this thread a couple days ago, the card continue receiving statement credit offers and only cashback in the form of thank you points, despite some users here assuring the offers would make the switch to TYP as well, although I think that's more what they were hoping for in order to take more advantage of those points via travel partners etc
What I was not expecting is the card to have the exact same name and image as the other former Sears card
I don't travel much at all, so statement credits are much more value to me than TYP.
But yeah, the same name without anything on the card itself to differentiate it from the other card with a different cashback structure is just wild.
At least have small letters Core on the back or something.
I guess from their end, it is the card number that tells them what they need to do.
