A quick look at today’s departure board shows 9 BA departures to LHR. I would contend that BA does take a lot of people from Manchester outside of the UK, it’s just that they do it via LHR. If that connecting traffic did not exist then I doubt there would be a service at all, let alone 9 flights a day.
