DL Golds are STE+ members. You will have access to both LAX Sky Club (due to flying in an international PS/PE cabin as a DL STE+) and LAX VS Clubhouse (due to flying DL/VS metal as a STE+). Only the LHR Clubhouse has special rules and only permits DL Plats/Diamonds access and only on PS/PE fares (all D1 pax get access). Yes, it's weird/redundant that the LAX Clubhouse access rules has sections for both DL Plat/Diamond and STE+ members as obviously DL Plat/Diamonds are also STE+ members.
