Level operates two former Virgin Australia A-330-200's with 1-2-1 seating. These seats were refurbished when Level took delivery. Tail numbers EC-ODB and EC-OHY.
For Los Angeles residents needing to get to the South of France, trains leave BCN airport station twice a day and stop at Montpellier in 3 hours.
But there are potential issues with this itinerary. Level often substitutes aircraft. If you must have a lie-flat seat, these are risky flights to book. Level customer service is minimal.
I know it's nonstop, but I'd still definitely
not recommend it. Level's service is subpar (it is a budget airline, after all, despite having business class), and it's usually easier (and cheaper) to fly to southern Europe out of any of Canada's major airports. (I think my own last flight to Spain was out of Toronto, but on BA or American and with far better service.)
I'm admittedly skeptical in part because I was totally screwed after idiotically buying an Alitalia ticket the same year they went bankrupt, and I'm still avoiding ITA like the plague. Plus this is seven months out, and to an area with frequent fare sales.
