this is all in theory since we are unclear atm what works and what doesnt. so assuming you booked and used the $250 for 2025, and then you realised you need to cancel that reservation in 2026. what you can try is to book the $500 reservations first and claim the $500 credit. then rebooked your 2025 reservation before canceling the old one. and if you need to cancel the $500 reservations, rebook before canceling. this assumes that rebooking before canceling avoids the clawback, but we have to wait and see
