Still deciding whether I will go for JFK or DFW. It may be because JFK has twice the flights, but DFW appears to be scooped up faster than both JFK flights on certain days.
A lot of the non-A35K routes have availability that persists for many minutes if not multiple hours, so at least there are often fallbacks if I "run the race" only to get to the end and see that the 55k tickets are now 110k because somebody clicked "Check Out" faster than me.
I also raced through the check out at 12am JST on the dot and managed to secure the saver awards for the afternoon fight. Skipped all optional fields, including seat selection (you can select seats later). I noticed for JFK the afternoon saver flights would get always get booked first while the early morning AM flights would still be available for a while.
