This happened to me too. When I checked my bag, the agent pointed me to the non Pre line. I was surprised. We tried adding my KTN twice and it didn't "stick." I ended up going through regular security and once airside, I looked up my global entry and saw it had expired. I was pretty shocked (again, no notice). I renewed waiting for my flight.
