I loved the one international I did into FLL. Yes it was Gatters (as is the rest of Florida outside MIA ) I have routinely found the border staff on arrival at MIA awful; rude, borderline aggressive and tricky - especially incoming off a flight where one might have had a drink or too... FLL was refreshing and as friendly as TPA.

But as noted above, it was to compete against Norwegian and I can't see it returning only a half hour drive away and all the onward connections offered at MIA
