As a bmi *Gold refugee I've thoroughly enjoyed Aegean, spending more time in Greece and much of the FFP. I think I'll struggle to do the 12 flights per year as I'll spending half my year in Africa which doesn't exactly fit well with A3's network. I might be able to make the 72,000 tier miles work...but need to run the numbers on this v Flying Blue.

Platinum is out of reach but feels like a bone to throw people doing lots of domestic or regional flying who are effectively captives. The benefits are rather thin!
