They upgraded the standard room to a deluxe standard room, which I felt was on the small side for 2 people. But had a nice bathroom with a huge walk in shower and a toto toilet with all the bells and whistles.

According to P2, the breakfast buffet wasn't great, but I had the best version of avocado toast with poached eggs that's I've gotten at any hotel in Bangkok. I think it was called American Dream Toast (or was it Avocado Dream Toast?) on the breakfast menu, but I had to ask for the 2 poached eggs to be added. Service at the restaurant wasn't great, especially on the 2nd morning. Didn't notice any wifi issues. Great view from Sky Beach on the 78th floor. We asked for 2 more tickets for the 2nd night. Though for a more serene experience, you might try Ojo restaurant on the 74th floor.
