KTN was in profile and correct. A gate agent double checked, but wasn't able to add it. No Precheck symbol on electronic or paper pass.
I did book directly on AA.

I had somewhat the same issue a year/year and a half ago, whenever it was they were retooling the internal system to run more algorithms based off AAdvantage numbers. (But maybe not as severe. Most but not all of the time PreCheck still worked--but more often than not I didn't get my quasi-exalted Group 4 boarding, and I had to show card to get into the Admirals Club. AAngels tried to fix it. Customer Service had me delete my AAdvantage number, and re-enter it a few days later. More than once. None of it really worked. Eventually it just healed. Hope it does the same for you but quicker.
