I am BA Silver until Apr 26, and have just booked a package holiday for Jul 26 via an OTA, on a BA flight. The booking shows up in MMB, but I can't access seat selection until check in. Do I lose the free seat selection due to booking via an OTA? Or is it because the booking is after my expiry?

I used to use BAH but since the tier changes I'm no longer chasing BA status, though it would have been nice to have used the seat selection for this trip - any help would be appreciated!
