It's a day flight, and, if I decided to upfare, it would actually be UA43 FRA-EWR.
Saturday flight, and I have access to the lounge via CSR..On the other hand, I've never flown UA business class....it seems enticing.
A few reasons I would take the upgrade in this case:
(1) You avoid having a seatmate to climb over (or climb over you)
(2) You get more personal space and room to stretch out
(3) You get access to better lounges at every airport (the LH lounge at FRA and the Polaris lounge at EWR)
(4) You avoid IAD
(5) The food is not great on UA, but still better in C than in PY
