It has been in place unchanged for 10 years and so far UA has not shown any inclination to change.
Not sure I would agree ticket prices, in adjusted terms, have risen any way near those levels.
As will be undoubtedly pointed out, the high-spending flyers get many more miles, even if capped, now than they did in the pre-$$$ metric approach.
