I understand that. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I think it's becoming more common across frequent flyer programmes. CX also offers more availability to higher tiers.
And that’s a problem. It will basically kill the miles game in the U.S. if people know that regardless of how many miles they rack up, F and J awards will be heavily (or fully) restricted to elites.
