Lightbulb Any talk of inflation adjustments for 75k award miles cap?

Seems like ticket prices, both in dollars and miles, have been going up pretty rapidly, but yet award miles are still capped at 75,000 per ticket (PNR).

I've been LAX-HND-LAX every few weeks this year, and all but one of those hit the award cap. For those flights, it averages out to just under 50,000 award miles that are lost due to the cap per round trip. Obviously, I can see why United wants to keep this, but C fares for this route are up by almost 30% this year and most reward ticket fares seem 50-100% higher unless I'm lucky enough to find a saver fare.

Raising that cap by the same 30-50%, maybe to 100k per ticket, would be a really nice gesture to the top spenders. Has anyone seen or heard anything about United considering this?
