Yes it’s already been noted that the number of flights during spread across the day with the number of passengers with lounge access is all of a completely different magnitude at EDI and GLA. I am not sure why some persist in trying to compare them to MAN/NCL.
As noted, there is neither the alternative capacity with third party lounges at either airport or the cost incentive (third party lounges are not free) for ba to ditch their lounges.
