I second this, it’s the best wee lounge. Staff are so friendly and helpful, spotlessly clean, service attentive and even when busy you can find a seat. Compare to LHR, that is like a cattle market, impossible to find a seat and smells like dirty carpets. LGW is a close second to GLA for me.
just because we like it (and we do), don't want it to close (we don't), and because it's used throughout the day, doesn't mean its future is beyond contention. Manchester had a much loved BA lounge, well used throughout the day: look what happened there, and at Newcastle and Jersey,
BA's management could be seen as derelict in their duty if they did not assess the costs and benefits of operating independent lounges from time to time.
It seems blinkered to assert such assessments don't take place, and that they couldn't possibly result in actions we wouldn't entertain.
