Flying OGG-ORD-BOS-EWR-PWM on a JN award and would like to change to OGG-ORD-PWM. Rates desk says this will cost an extra 200k miles per ticket (I think it's counting that as a stopover given next PWM flight is >4 hours). If I wait until 24 hours before OGG departure, and JN/J are available at that time, can I SDC to the ORD-PWM nonstop? Not sure this would be possible as it would exceed the 4 hour stopover fare rule.
This would only work 24 hours before the ORD-PWM departure.
