The truly valuable pax at Velazquez for IB, however, are IB J pax - irrespective of status, although a regular South American J travellers becomes Platinum + quite easily....
Providing something extra at Velazquez for what ultimately will be BA Golds travelling Y/C and AA ExecPlats flying on AA metal doesn't really make a whole lot of sense to me. Which doesn't mean it won't happen of course but still...
