Getting to/from Gate 47 is no picnic, with a long, often crowded underground tunnel. It will probably be a close call whether it's quicker to bus or walk outside and reclear security (assuming pre-check). In all events, T4 security should be avoided as they have the new scanners which are subject to lengthy delays.
Ordinarily I would agree. But it’s wise to keep an eye on TSA delays as long as the shutdown continues. I get the sense that this is starting to escalate rapidly.
