Some may even be angry if you put from the open wine that might get left in the galley (never a white wine always red or nothing). It just seems like midflight is an afterthought and the crew are not to be bothered. Asking for the midflight snack is a laughably small, toddler sandwich that they will heat (not worth it). I’ve just not been impressed with AF/KL long haul and lean to KL when it comes to food that normal people want to eat.
Interesting. I guess I don't, as yet, have much experience of long haul AF so it's difficult for me to comment. What I will say is that when I rang the call bell mid-flight, the crew member who was in the galley came straight out with a small torch to see what I was needing. Maybe I just lucked out that day with a good crew!!
