You’d have to get the property to take a prepayment before the trip to meet the end date, but then it still wouldn’t be a US transaction. So probably not going to work.

Maybe you could look into buying a gift card at a local hotel and using that to pay for your stay, but I don’t know how easy it is to use US gift cards from Marriott abroad and what exchange rate issues you may face.
