Loved the AF pics and commentary, but I must add that AF crews can vary quite a bit. In my experience, most are lively during the service and then invisible after and borderline angry if you ask for something out of what is on the bare-bones galley (often a closed bottle of wine or Champagne). Some may even be angry if you put from the open wine that might get left in the galley (never a white wine always red or nothing). It just seems like midflight is an afterthought and the crew are not to be bothered. Asking for the midflight snack is a laughably small, toddler sandwich that they will heat (not worth it). I’ve just not been impressed with AF/KL long haul and lean to KL when it comes to food that normal people want to eat.
