Go there and tell me - your flight is after 5pm so you have to go to Upper Deck.
Walk to Upper Deck, and the welcome is like that from a Victorian headmistress. The BA “staff” member rolls her eyes at me when I ask for a voucher and tells me the lounge isn’t busy so no, I can’t have one.
I used to love flying out of GLA but not today.
Menzies has been running the show for some time and the staff members can be very hit and miss. The attitude of some of them in a client/customer facing role is truly astonishing, especially when nothing wrong has happened. There are some gems so really just depends on who you get on the day. Hopefully BA move quickly and sort out the lounge as the two other options really do show how much better the BA lounge was
