I haven't tried that myself so I can't tell you if the field is blocked or not. However, hfly does have a point there. TK is not exactly civilized when you contact them with anything. I have a fair share of their crap and if things go your way, that's great. But when things go south, you will realize that communicatinig with them is like talking to a brick wall.

If you desperately need those miles to re-qualify, or redeem an award flight. I will definitely get a back up plan in case things go south. If you are ok not getting the miles I guess you can try your luck.

Since you live in SG you are used to more competent check-in/gate agent. I constantly get so mad at check-in at CPH because a lot of the check-in people are incompetent.

If you want to play safe, upgrade your ticket and then remove your TK FFP and replace it with BR FFP.
