Apparently anybody flying out of IAH is getting emails saying Terminal "C" security is closed starting November 1. Everybody needs to use "A" or "E" terminal security. Your post is a little surprising but my guess is they're allowing them through because they missed the memo and moving disabled folks around between terminals is not super easy if their family has already left.

But I'm also surprised they closed "C" which is, by far, the busiest terminal for security at IAH. Hopefully PreCheck remains open at "E". I've got two ex-IAH flights coming up in November already but since they aren't booked yet I didn't get the memo. My friend sent it.
