Trying to help 2 families with 7 adults (broken down to 3 and 4) plan a trip for 7-8 nights to Tokyo arriving in mid-Feb 2026.

Tried search all recommending hotels listed on FT but either they take only 2 people, offer really expensive options ($600) or located in areas
not familiar (Tokyo Bay, south of Shibuya, etc). Saw new Four Points Flex Shibuya opening up on Dec 2025 but it looks to only be 2 people/room and small.

Ideally looking for:
1) Looking for options of how to get from NRT to Tokyo when flight arrives at 8pm.
2) Suggestions for hotels or AirBNBs.
3) Affordable hotels that can accommodate more than 2, centrally located in a safe area and close to train station (suggest areas or hotels)
- What areas are safe vs don't stay there? (East Shinjuku, Roppongi?)
- Any suggestions of places that might take at least 1 room with 3 in room or 4 in room or 2 rooms without costing $800/night.
4) Suggestions on day trips from Tokyo. Should they book a 2 nt stay in Kyoto (Hyatt Place?) to see temples and Osaka?
5) Suggestion on train passes to purchase or just buy point to point tickets.
