So it looks like the 100/145k max for J and F respectively has gone away. As others have noted, flexibility is key. Between my wife and I, we have a few tcons coming up in F at reasonable award rates. Also, if AS U space opens up to feed a tcon, that usually knocks the price down.

AA’s cash fares are generally much more competitive than DL’s fares (I don’t monitor UA much). For example, DL regularly wants over $2k on BOS-LAX on their 752s when I can get AA for 1.1-1.4k (including F) a couple of weeks out.
